Hub City Press announced today they will be producing a new book titled, Artists Among Us.
It is an art gallery you can hold in your hands—a full-color coffee-table book where you will get to know Spartanburg's sculptors, painters, ceramicists, photographers, and more. Talented local photographer and ASMP South Carolina member, Stephen Stinson presents evocative portraits of 100 of Spartanburg most creative citizens, and the artists themselves put their stories and muses to words.
Local gallery owner Edward Emory curates a selection of artwork—one piece per artist—and captures a century of achievement in the visual arts. This high-quality book is an important historical document and a striking calling card for the Spartanburg artistic community.
