FEATURED PRESENTERS:

Canon Explorer of Light, Jack Reznicki Born in Israel, the son of concentration camp survivors, Jack moved to the US when he was four years old and grew up in Rochester, NY. With a newly minted BFA cum laude degree in photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and after assisting some of the top photographers in New York, Jack opened his studio in 1980 and has become a well-know and respected commercial photographer.

 

Based in New York City, his creative problem solving has helped promote products and services for many companies such as Toys “R” Us, Tylenol, AstraZeneca, The Wall Street Journal, Hyatt, Kodak, Reader’s Digest, Crest, AT&T, Playtex, and several Time Magazine covers.

 

Jack is the author of several books on commercial photography including “The Copyright Zone”, which deals with copyright and legal issues for photographers and artists, “Studio and Commercial Photography- A Kodak Pro Workshop” book and other books.

 

Jack is an Adjunct Professor and teaches a graduate level course at the School of Visual Arts in New York City on the business of photography. 

 

Vincent J. Musi For more than 25 years, Vincent Musi has photographed diverse subjects—from traveling Route 66 to global warming, life under volcanoes, illegal immigration, and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

 

Born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, in 1962, Musi studied journalism at Ohio University. He began photographing in 1981 with a series of internships at the Troy (Ohio) Daily News, the Palm Beach Post, the Missoulan in Missoula, Montana, and the San Jose Mercury News. He was a staff photographer with the Pittsburgh Press until it ceased publishing in 1992

 

Musi began as a freelance photographer with the National Geographic Society in 1993, contributing to two book projects and many National Geographic magazine articles, on subjects ranging from the Texas Hill Country to Central American hurricanes. He is also a contributor to TimeNewsweekLifeFortune, and the New York Times Magazine.

 

SC Film Commission Friday morning seminar with Steven Gladstone of Gladstone Films Steven Gladstone is a New York-based filmmaker who has worked in the industry for more than 20 years as an animation/motion control cameraman, gaffer, camera assistant, D.P., and director. He spent a year and a half videotaping Holocaust survivors for the Survivors of the Shoah project and has a Master of Communication Arts degree. He also pursues personal filmmaking projects and spends time with his children. New and compact film and still gear demonstrated.
